Because I don’t take enough photos of my family…me and my girl. 30 weeks pregnant.
This maternity session took place last fall right when the leaves were starting to change. The background provided lovely hues of green and yellow for my session with this beautiful couple. Only a few short months after we had our session, they welcomed a precious baby boy into the world. These two are literally the sweetest couple you will ever meet and now that little man is here that officially makes them the sweetest family you will ever meet! I will be sure to blog their newborn session shortly!
While vacationing in South Carolina with family, I took some maternity photos for my sister and her family. The beach down there was gorgeous! Much more blue than I had remembered. As we were heading down to the water to start our session, the sky darkened and we spotted lightening in the distance. A storm was brewing and soon after beginning our session it started raining. Needless to say, we had about twenty minutes to shoot before getting blown away. Although we were pressed for time we still managed to get some lovely shots!
The next day the weather was perfect of course, so we went to an empty lot behind the house and took some maternity shots of just my sister. Isn’t she gorgeous?
I had a wonderful time taking maternity photos for this awesome family. They happen to be friends and neighbors so we took their photos right in the neighborhood. The light was perfect and their little man had so much fun running around and playing hide and seek – he has such a fun personality! I absolutely love taking photos for friends; hanging out, good conversation and getting to be creative…I love my job!
